When Writing A Proposal To A Top Affiliate, You Need To Treat It Like You Were Writing A Resume To An Employer You Are Interested In Working For Or If You Were Writing To The Top-ranking Official At A Company - You Need To Ensure That You Don’t Have Any Grammatical Or Spelling Mistakes In It.

Arguably, one of the biggest turnoffs is seeing a bunch of grammatical or spelling mistakes in a proposal where you are attempting to convince a top affiliate to join your affiliate sales force. You’re trying to convince him/her it’s worthwhile for him/her to do so. What message do you think is being sent when there are several grammatical and spelling mistakes littered throughout your proposal?
The message being sent is that you didn’t care enough about this proposal and this partnership to bother rereading your material to make sure it was error-free. You didn’t bother at least spell-checking the proposal, let alone read it through to make sure the message was understandable and convincing.
If the message of not caring enough about the proposal is being sent loud-and-clear to the top affiliate, do you really think that top affiliate will join your affiliate sales force? You can certainly bet he/she won’t.
Therefore, it is vital you have NO mistakes in your proposal when you send it off to that top affiliate. Any errors in it will likely kill any chance you had of recruiting that top affiliate into your affiliate sales force.
