Finding And Successfully Recruiting Well-respected, Experienced Affiliates Into Your Affiliate Sales Force Is A Major Key In Being Able To Increase Your Online Profits By A Significant Margin. But, Do You Know How To Recruit Them Into Your Affiliate Sales Force?
By Admin | February 17, 2009
Well-respected, experienced affiliates are not just going to take any internet marketer’s offer to join their affiliate program just because the marketer asks him/her to join. The fact is, these affiliate marketers have many Internet marketers who come to them with affiliate program and joint venture proposals. As a result, they can be choosy over whose products they want to promote. Therefore, you really need to consider several factors before asking them to join your affiliate program and promote your product offers.
One factor is that you shouldn’t just “come out of the blue” and ask them to join your affiliate program. Like you would with your opt-in list, you should build a relationship with the affiliate marketer first. This can include buying their products, conversing with them in forums and on blogs, assisting them when possible, etc. By establishing a relationship with them beforehand, they’ll be much more receptive to joining your affiliate sales force and promoting your product offers.
Another factor you should consider is how high a commission rate you should offer them. Because they have so many affiliate program and joint venture proposals to consider, don’t expect a 50% commission rate is going to entice them to join - that’s more likely to get your proposal overlooked and disposed of. The fact is, 50% commission rates are not as enticing nowadays because everyone is proposing at least that. For your proposal to be seriously considered, the commission rate will have to be higher than 50%.
