While searching for affiliate links to a product’s sales page can be a good way to find many top affiliates, this method doesn’t always work or doesn’t yield many affiliates. As a result, you’ll have to get them to reveal themselves, and the way to do this is to get them to communicate with you via a niche forum that relates to the product they are currently promoting (and presumably, relates to the future product you want them to promote as well).
You need to join that niche forum as a member so you can post in the forum. It probably would be a good idea to post a few posts about who you are and provide some useful information in some of the active threads. After you have made a few posts, open a new thread and ask for a product review of the product that you were tracing for affiliates. This will likely lead to many top affiliates of that product to come to that thread and give you reviews of that product, along with their affiliate links to that product.
This will identify them as affiliates for that product, and therefore, people you should note and contact later when you are recruiting top affiliates to promote your product.
